Spiral Tower Smart Farm The Spiral Tower Smart Farm is designed with a spiral staircase-shaped water reservoir built around a central column, along with fixing pins that can hold seedlings in place. Users can either directly insert their desired vegetable seedlings into the pins or place seedling pots into them. Water or nutrient solution is pumped from a lower tank up through the column to the top of the spiral structure. As the solution flows down along the spiral steps, it is supplied to the roots of the seedlings, allowing the vegetables to grow automatically. 2. Online Weekend Farm / Plant Fab Business Model We plan to install 500 to 1,000 spiral tower automated cultivation units and recruit members for an online weekend farm. Each member can lease or subscribe to a certain number of spiral tower growing units. When members choose the types of seedlings they want, staff will plant them on their behalf. At harvest time, the crops can be harvested and shipped to any address the member requests. Members may also visit in person whenever they have time, relax on-site, plant seedlings themselves, or harvest and take their produce home. Surplus vegetables can be traded or sold through a member marketplace on the website. This business is intended to function as an online weekend farm or plant fab, and can also be used as an educational experience center for elementary school students. 3. Plant Fab for Restaurants, Businesses, and Individuals A plant fab where restaurants, eateries, and individuals can grow the vegetables they use through an online system, either for their own consumption or for sharing.
