The Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency is a public institution established by the Rural Development Administration to promote the industrial application of research and development achievements in the field of agricultural science and technology (Article 33 of the Rural Development Act). It was established to maximize the economic impact of agricultural science and technology R&D projects by facilitating the rapid commercialization of research and development achievements in this field, and to contribute to industrial promotion by supporting increased income for farmers and the creation of high value-added products in the agri-food industry.
